In 1989, three brothers identified the growing demand for quality wire shelving, and bought a small business in New Jersey creating a “new slant” on shelving called Nexel. Nexel Industries was the first company to manufacturer wire shelving overseas and ensured that quality was not compromised in any way.
The “N” truss was born creating a unique identity in the marketplace. This high quality shelving was very popular, and today, the NEXEL line of wire shelving is available in forty standard sizes and seven finishes. NEXEL’s shelving is used across the country for foodservice, healthcare, commercial, industrial and consumer applications and is the strongest shelving in the industry.
