DESCRIPTION
The Slice® 10503 Auto-Retractable Box Cutter takes safety to a new level with an ergonomic, protective J-hook handle and our patent-pending safety blades. Avoid injuries with a retractable box cutter that prevents you from accidentally leaving the blade exposed. Keep your fingers safe with our protective handle. This safety box cutter uses 100 percent zirconium oxide blades that are non-sparking, non-magnetic, chemically inert, safe up to 1600 degrees Celsius, and never rust. Suitable for many materials, including single- and double-walled corrugated. Hang the 10503 on a pocket (keeping the blade outside and away from your body) or use the lanyard hole to keep your tool handy.

Which Slice Box Cutter Is Right For Me?
Slice manufactures two styles of J-hook tool: the retractable box cutter and the manual, or fixed-position blade, box cutter. The manual box cutter is ideal for users that are cutting constantly with few breaks in between strokes. The retractable box cutter has an added layer of safety because the retracting blade prevents the user from accidentally leaving the blade exposed when the knife is not in use.
Both Slice box cutters can handle material depths up to and including double-walled corrugated. If you’re cutting something thicker, we recommend one of our utility knives.
